The Story Behind the Punsters

Hi, we're the mother-daughter team behind Punfetti! I'm Louise, a pharmacist and a proud grandmother. I'm Madison, a data analyst. By day we're pretty serious people, but by night we dream up puns. Punfetti started at Louise’s mailbox. Whenever Charley, her granddaughter, came to visit, they'd check the mail together, and Louise would pretend every bill and catalog was for Charley, just to watch her little face light up. When Charley’s visit ended, Louise kept that joy going by mailing Charley silly, just-for-her notes with puns like "I love ewe" and "you're udderly wonderful." Everyone got a dimpled grin.

Those little notes reminded us that a handwritten card is more than sweet. It's proof that someone thought of you and took the time to make you laugh or feel loved. We believe laughing together can build stronger bonds, create a sense of belonging, and ease loneliness, and that's why we started Punfetti. Our puns might not leave you rolling on the floor, but we hope they at least make you laugh. Remember, laughter is contagious, so please pass it on.
